Services are performed by trained technicians and are subject to availability.
3. Scheduling & Appointments
Appointments can be scheduled via phone, email, or online form. Customers must provide accurate contact and appliance information. Appointments will be confirmed in advance, with estimated arrival windows provided.
4. Estimate & Payment Terms

Estimates are valid for 30 days.

Payment is due upon job completion, unless agreed otherwise in writing.

Accepted forms of payment: Cash, credit/debit cards, or digital apps.

Late payments (after 3 weeks from service) incur 1% per week interest.

Returned checks will incur a $25 fee.

Deposits may be required for special-order parts and may be non-refundable due to restocking fees.

If payment is not made on time, any applied discounts will be voided.
5. Nonpayment Policy
Effective Date: May 28, 2025
To ensure fairness and operational integrity, the following applies in the case of nonpayment:
5.1 Payment Expectations

Payment is due immediately upon service completion unless otherwise arranged in writing.
5.2 Consequences of Nonpayment

$25 late fee applied after 48 hours of nonpayment.

Future services may be suspended until the balance is cleared.

Accounts unpaid after 14 days may be sent to collections, and legal/administrative fees may apply.

Nonpayment may be reported to credit agencies.
5.3 Disputes & Partial Payments

Contact us within 5 business days of service for billing disputes.

We will investigate and attempt a fair resolution.
5.4 Returned Payments

Rejected payments are subject to a $35 processing fee.

An alternative payment method must be provided.
5.5 Communication
We’re committed to resolving issues respectfully. If you're facing hardship, reach out early to discuss options.
6. Refund Policy

6.1 Non-Refundable Services
Refunds will not be issued for:

Diagnostic service fees

Completed labor
-
Installed parts
-
No-show or last-minute cancellation service calls
6.2 Refund Eligibility (Parts Only)
Refunds may be granted if:

The part fails within warranty (typically 90 days)

The part was improperly installed by our technician

You were billed for a part that was never installed
Refunds cover parts only, not labor or service fees unless specified otherwise.
6.3 Refund Request Process
To request a refund:

Provide your original invoice

Allow inspection or follow-up (if needed)
Refunds will be issued within 10 business days via original payment method.
6.4 Cancellations & Prepaid Services

Full refunds for prepaid services are available with 24+ hours’ notice.

6.5 Disputes
For any disagreement regarding service or charges, please contact us directly. We will conduct a professional review and work to resolve fairly.
7. Warranty Terms

30-day warranty applies to refrigeration sealed systems and replaced parts.

Misuse or neglect

Improper third-party installation

New issues occurring post-repair

Warranty claims are subject to review and must include proof of service. We respond within 48 hours, excluding Sundays and holidays.
8. Changes to Scope of Work
All changes or additional work must be approved in writing by both parties before work begins. Change orders must detail:

Adjusted pricing

Impacts on timelines or payment terms
We reserve the right to seek compensation under unjust enrichment laws even if documentation is incomplete.
9. Limitation of Liability
Big Sam Appliance Repair is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.
Our total liability is limited to the amount paid for the service.
We are not responsible for:

Food spoilage

Water damage

Faulty electrical or utility connections
10. User Conduct
You agree not to:
